Our activities are designed to suit a range of interests and abilities, encouraging residents to stay active, social and engaged. Whether it’s joining in with a group activity or enjoying some quiet one-to-one time, there’s always something to look forward to.
Activities include arts and crafts, music and sing-alongs, games such as bingo and quizzes, and gentle exercise sessions to support wellbeing. We also celebrate seasonal events throughout the year, bringing residents together for special occasions and creating a real sense of community.
For those who prefer a quieter pace, we offer one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests, ensuring everyone feels included and supported in a way that suits them.
To further support wellbeing, we also arrange regular visiting services including hairdressing, chiropody and other personal care treatments, helping residents feel comfortable, confident and well looked after.
Food & Mealtimes
Mealtimes are an important part of daily life at Longwood Lodge — not just for nutrition, but for enjoyment and social connection too.
All meals are freshly prepared on site each day, using quality ingredients and designed around residents’ preferences, dietary needs and individual tastes. We take the time to get to know what each resident enjoys, offering choice and flexibility wherever possible.
Whether it’s a hearty home-cooked favourite or a lighter option, meals are served in a relaxed and friendly setting where residents can dine together and enjoy each other’s company.
Visiting Times For Family & Friends
Family and friends are warmly welcome to visit, with flexible visiting times available to suit residents and loved ones. We simply ask that visits are avoided where possible during mealtimes to ensure residents can enjoy their meals comfortably and without interruption.
